Meeting with old friends and new teammates

As of today I am in training camp, the weather is good and we can train really well. I am happy to see the team again after the winter break and to learn the new teammates. Of course I already know one of them pretty well – my old friend Marcel Kittel ;-) The atmosphere is very good and everyone is motivated. In the next day the training will be pretty stressful. We have our team presentation, there will be a lot of press and sponsors there. But that is really just business as usual at the start of the season.

I would like to send a special greeting and wishes for much success to my best friend and former teammate #Matthias Hahn in Erfurt. He is putting on a ‘cross race in Erfurt on Dec. 9 for the second time. I am happy about the enthusiastic young riders in Erfurt and wish everyone the best luck!
