Just like last year I took a break after the Classics and am now returning to racing again on May 1. Even though I am still preparing for the highlights in the second half of the season, I will try to be at the start of the Radklassiker in Frankfurt in my best possible form.

Just like last year I took a break after the Classics and am now returning to racing again on May 1. Even though I am still preparing for the highlights in the second half of the season, I will try to be at the start of the Radklassiker in Frankfurt in my best possible form. The race is always something special to me, first of all because it is in Germany, and I enjoy presenting myself to my homeland fans.

Second, many member s of my family live here and of course will be along the course tomorrow.

I am here at the start for the first time with my new team and with Alexander Kristoff we have someone who has already won here twice. Of course that will affect our plan tomorrow, but who knows, perhaps I will also have my chances.

We are also using this race for our private purposes, as the first time to travel with our daughter and to pack her portable crib. Many in the family have now seen our little girl for the first time. And she did a great job ;-)

My brother is, by the way, a partner of the race tomorrow with his firm. He has developed a system that will show the content and postings with the hashtag #Radklassiker from different social networks on a screen and there will be a lot of screens along the way tomorrow.
